1. ... wish (that) ... had done表示对过去无法实现的情况的愿望。

My teacher wished she had learned French when she was at school.

2. ... wish (that) ... did/were表示对现在无法实现的情况的愿望。

I wish I knew how to operate the machine.

3. ... wish (that) ... were doing表示对目前正在进行的情况无法实现的愿望。
