Cashing Traveier's Cheques兑现旅行支票

Daniel: Could you cash some traveler's checks for me?

Clerk : Yes. How much do you want to cash?

Daniel: Five hundred US dollars should do the trick.

1.“do the trick“是口语的说法，意思是“起作用，奏效，解决问题，达到目的”，例如：A bit more flour should do the trick.（再来一点面粉就可以了。）This low-cost solution may do the trick.（这个低成本的解决方案也许可以奏效。）
