Colleges and universities should require all faculty to spend time working outside the academic world in professions relevant to the courses they teach.

Write a response in which you discuss your views on the policy and explain your reasoning for the position you take. In developing and supporting your position, you should consider the possible consequences of implementing the policy and explain how these consequences shape your position.

五问：

（1）大学的全体教员有哪些不同的种类？例如：教师、辅导员等。原命题是否对所有人都有效？或是只对某一部分人有效？如果你赞同原命题只对某一部分人有效，请你说说是哪一部分人。

（2）一个人想要把一门课程教好，应该做哪些方面的工作？从事相关领域的研究工作是否一个重要的因素？除了这个因素之外，你还能说说其他可能的因素吗？例如：授课技能、自我修养、责任心等。

（3）想要教好所有的科目，应该遵循的路径是一模一样的吗？如果不是，请你说说差别。例如：一些理论性比较强的学科，如语言学，会比较重视理论基础的扎实程度；而一些比较注重实际应用的课程，如管理，多接触外界、积累一些实践经验会更有帮助。

（4）如果我们真的如原命题所要求的那样来实施这项建议，会产生什么好的结果和坏的结果？例如：一方面有利于促进理论与实际的结合，使课堂更加生动有趣；但另一方面，也可能分散教师的精力，从而影响教学质量。

（5）为什么有人不愿意重视相关的工作，而只愿意埋头苦学在学术世界中，他们是怎么想的？有什么理由？例如：他们希望能潜心研究，不被其他工作打扰，分散精力。这些理由一定是错误的吗？
