解题思路

首先，通过下面的表格，我们来看一下近年（2002～2011）职称英语考试综合类B级试题的概括大意与完成句子部分所考原文段落主题句出现的位置。

由此我们可以看出，大约2/3的文章可以找到其主题句。主题句一般位于段落开头或结尾。这主要是因为英语段落的展开主要有两种方式：演绎法和归纳法。所谓演绎法，就是开门见山先提出论点，然后通过举例子论证论点，这时论点即段落主题句一般出现在段落的第一句或第二句。而归纳法则是通过举例来归纳总结得出论点，这时论点即主题句会出现在段尾。掌握了这条规律，我们便可以轻而易举地概括出段落大意。

2．如果主题句含有宾语从句，重点应该看宾语从句。
