1　little 表示“少”，修饰的是不可数名词，指量。

There's little water in the bottle. 瓶子里水不多了。

I have little money left. 我剩下的钱不多了。

2　small 表示“小”，尤指面积、数字、度量等。

The room is too small . 这个房间太小了。

It is a small country. 那是一个小国。

3　little 表示“形态小，年龄小”，带有感情色彩，常有爱怜、赞赏的意味。
