180　many, much和plenty of

1　many 后要接可数名词复数（a number of也是同样用法）。

There are many chairs in the hall. 大厅里有许多椅子。

She always makes a number of mistakes. 她总是犯很多错误。

2　much 后只能接不可数名词。

There isn't much ink in the bottle. 瓶子里没有多少墨水了。

3　plenty of 后既可接可数名词复数，也可接不可数名词（lots of和a lot of也是同样用法）。参见有关部分。

He drinks plenty of water every day. 他每天喝许多水。

There are plenty of desks in the classroom. 教室里有许多桌子。
