1　表示“到达”，与reach和arrive at/ in是同义词。

They got to the park at nine in the morning. 他们上午9点钟到达公园。

When he got to the village, it was light. 他到达那个村庄时，天已经亮了。

2　表示“开始，逐渐地认识／理解”，强调一个逐渐发展的过程。

I got to know the meaning of his words. 我逐渐知道了他话中的意思。

3　用作连系动词，表示“变得”，后跟形容词作表语。

It gets warmer and warmer. 天气越来越暖和了。

It is getting dark. 天渐渐黑下来了。

He will get well soon. 他不久就会好了。
