Foreign men wishing to wed Muslim women should put a $55,000 "security guarantee" into the bank, which is part of a marriage-law reform being pushed by Muslim conservatives.
　　近日印度尼西亚的穆斯林保守派提出对《结婚法》实施改革，其中一项法案是：外国男子想要迎娶印尼穆斯林新娘，必须先缴纳5.5万美元“保证金”。

　　The proposal only applies to Muslim women, not to Christians or Buddhists or Hindus. If the couple divorce, the wife will be entitled to the money, if they are able to stick together for at least 10 years, the amount can be claimed as 'shared property'.

　　该法案仅针对于穆斯林女性，其他印尼妇女的跨国婚姻则不在法案管辖范畴之内。该法案还规定外国男子在缴纳“保证金”迎娶穆斯林新娘后，如果10年之内离婚，妻子就有权得到这笔钱；如婚姻持续超过10年，这笔钱将视为夫妻“共同财产”。

　　"The provision is intended to protect the rights of women and their children if their husbands neglect, fail to provide for, leave Indonesia secretly, divorce or do anything which harms their interests," the bill says.

　　该法案上说，“该条款旨在保护妇女和儿童的权利，以防外国丈夫忽视家庭、不履行抚养义务、秘密回国、离婚或者做出任何伤害印尼妇女儿童的事情。”
