1. Wash your hair and body beforehand, if possible. This helps eliminate loose hair and skin cells.

　　3. Wear clean clothes, if possible.

　　4. Wear other protective items, such as disposable gloves and a face mask to prevent sneezes.

　　Remember, you are protecting the samples from you, not you from the samples.

 

　　5. Clean tools with alcohol to remove any previous sample.

　　6. Cover work surfaces with sterile paper mats, if possible.

　　7. Avoid touching items unnecessarily.

　　If you need to pick up an object, use clean forceps or a bag.
