该片将于7月13日北美上映，中国有望引进，片方为预热该片，今日发出了第二支主题曲MV，这首名为《chasing the sun》（《追逐太阳》）的主题曲是由英国目前最当红的偶像男子团体THE WANTED演唱，而这首歌曲在中国打榜以来成绩不错，暂列第四，名次还在攀升。

《冰川时代4》发MV 爆红英国男团献声

TheWanted（其成员分别是Tom，Max，Nathan，JayandSiva）组合成立于2009年，标榜自己是特立独行的流行乐队。该乐队在2010年7月发行了出道单曲《AllTimeLow》，这支单曲第一周就一举拿下了英国单曲榜的冠军。2011年他们发行《GladYouCame》专辑，并凭借同名歌曲登上英国单曲榜首位。目前他们是英国当红的男子偶像团体，他们也是继1997年以来第一支成功打进美国榜单的英国男孩团体。

此次他们重磅推出的这支最新单曲《追逐太阳》在各大音乐网站及电台都取得很好的打榜成绩，目前暂列第四位，名次还在继续攀升。之前出的第一支MV，在全球有超过500万的点击率，在中国仅仅一个月就已经拥有20万的点击率。这首单曲也是今年夏天最受期待的3D动画大片《冰川时代4》的主题曲。而此次随着电影上映日期的临近，片方也推出了一支全新的MV，MV中TheWanted成员站在海上冰川高歌，并与《冰川时代》里那些可爱的小动物们亲密互动，PK舞技。歌曲主要传达向上的精神，鼓励大家不要半途而废，放弃希望，要勇敢追逐太阳，这首歌的主题也与电影的内容特别契合，冰川的可爱动物们这次会因为地壳变动与家人分离，展开海上冒险，回家便是他们的终极梦想，他们能否突破难关最终与家人团聚呢?
