Yuanyuan, an 8-year-old female panda eats her "birthday cake" at Taipei Zoo in Taipei, capital of Taiwan province, on Aug 30, 2012. Yuanyuan was born on Aug 30, 2004 and was given by the Chinese mainland to Taiwan as a gift in 2008, along with her male partner, Tuantuan. Their names produce the Chinese phrase tuanyuan, which means reunion.
