NBC announced Monday (Aug. 31) that the president will take on the Alaskan wilderness for a special edition of “Running Wild with Bear Grylls.”
周一(8月31)全球广播公司宣布，美国总统奥巴马将会去阿拉斯加荒野参加野外真人秀《越野千里》的特别录制。

Obama will meet up with Grylls while visiting Alaska to observe the effects of climate change on the state. The two will then trek into the Alaskan landscape, as Obama becomes the first U.S. president to receive a crash course in survival techniques from Grylls. The visit will air on NBC later this year.

The week-long trip will aim at drawing attention to the dangerous effects climate change is having on Alaska, like rising seas, the melting of polar ice and glaciers and raging wildfires.
