China will raise basic pension payments for retirees in 2021, the 17th consecutive year of increase, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security said Friday. The average monthly payment for pensioners from enterprises, government agencies and public institutions will be increased by 4.5 percent from the 2020 level, according to the ministry.
人力资源和社会保障部4月16日印发通知，明确从2021年1月1日起，为企业和机关事业单位退休人员提高基本养老金水平，总体调整水平为2020年退休人员月人均基本养老金的4.5%。这意味着退休人员养老金实现"17连涨"。
