    According to a report on female tourism consumption released by Tuniu, an online travel platform, 54% of its users are female. Female users show stronger desire of traveling, women born in the 1980s and 1990s account for 60% of total travelers, with 40% of them ages between 26 and 35. Travelling is more favored by professional women from cities like Shanghai, Nanjing, Beijing, Tianjin and Wuhan, while activities including hiking, climbing, skiing, diving, surfing have become more and more popular among female travelers.
