The general offices of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and the State Council have issued a guideline on supporting the development of the social credit system.
近日，中共中央办公厅、国务院办公厅印发了《关于推进社会信用体系建设高质量发展促进形成新发展格局的意见》。
It called for strengthening the integrity of scientific research and protecting intellectual property rights, cracking down on thesis trading, and optimizing the protection and application system for intellectual property rights.
意见提出，强化科研诚信建设和知识产权保护，打击论文买卖“黑色产业链”，健全知识产权保护运用体制。


Quality control of products and services will be enhanced, and the supply of quality products and services in the domestic market will be expanded, the guideline said, adding that China will also cultivate model enterprises of integrity management.
深入实施质量提升行动，扩大国内市场优质产品和服务供给，培育一大批诚信经营、守信践诺的标杆企业。


Meanwhile, China will foster an environment for honest consumption and investment, such as cracking down on the production and sale of counterfeit goods, illegal advertising, and false publicity.
