China will seek to build a climate-resilient society by 2035 with significant improvements in its ability to adapt to climate change, according to the national climate change adaptation strategy jointly released by 17 departments including the Ministry of Ecology and Environment. By 2035, the country's climate change monitoring and early warning capability will reach an advanced level globally, while the climate risk management and prevention system will have matured. China will also take measures to prevent and control major climate-related disaster risks in an effective manner, and further improve the technical and standard system for adapting to climate change. 生态环境部等17部门近日联合印发了《国家适应气候变化战略2035》，提出到2035年，气候变化监测预警能力要达到同期国际先进水平，气候风险管理和防范体系基本成熟，重特大气候相关灾害风险得到有效防控，适应气候变化的技术体系和标准体系更加完善，全社会适应气候变化能力显著提升，气候适应型社会基本建成。
