Life is like a fascinating voyage on the ocean，where huge waves and horrible storms always go hand in hand．

It was a brand new start when I began my senior life 2 years ago．Packing my luggage and saying goodbye to my parents，I flew away from home and settled in my new boarding school．As time went by，my great curiosity about the new lifestyle and strong passion for living independently all subsided easily．I began to feel homesick and got tired of daily routine．I couldn't help missing my little warm bed at home while the dorm was absolutely far from satisfactory in terms of comfort and convenience．Expecting too much of the new life made it hard for me to escape disappointment．I was about to give up when my roommates warmed up my heart by celebrating my birthday together．They gave me such a big surprise that I felt as if I were at home and they were my family members．

Thanks to the deep friendship，my ship of life got over considerable difficulties and went on and on．From this precious experience，I learnt a lesson that adaptation to a new environment is never a smooth course and one should always be prepared for the tough obstacles in front of you．Besides，it is friends that are the most precious treasure you own and that's the source of power which is always on your side．

I'll always cherish that experience and face up to the challenges in the future．
