Dear Editor,
I'm a loyal reader of your newspaper.Recently I have something necessary to complain about.I bought an English dictionary last week in a bookstore,but I disappointedly found that several pages were missing and the text was not clearly printed.So I went back to the bookstore,hoping to exchange it for a new one.
To my surprise,the shop assistant refused my requirement saying that it was the publishing house that was to blame for the mistake.And when I asked to see their manager,they turned down my request again by giving an excuse that the manager was on vacation.I couldn't but leave the bookstore in great anger and depression.
Should cases of this kind happen again?Nowadays,more and more emphasis is laid on the quality of service,which can either build up or ruin a business reputation.Take bookstores as an example,if they have a check on books before they're sold,improve the after-sale service system and require their staff to be more polite,things will be totally different.I really hope your newspaper can make efforts to call on the service industry to improve their service quality.I'm looking forward to the change.
