Women's Day is drawing near．It suddenly occurs to me that it is high time that I did something special for my mom．After taking a wide range of gifts into consideration，I have finally come to the idea of preparing a delicious dinner for her as a gift with my reasons as follows．

To begin with，my mom always devotes herself to creating a comfortable family atmosphere for my dad and me．You just can't imagine how busy she can be doing the heavy housework．Preparing a dinner for her as a gift not only helps her relieve some of her pressure but also shows my gratitude to her．Secondly，I used to live with my parents every day，but after I entered high school，I have less time to spend with them and take less care of them to show my love for them much than before．To make up for the loss of love between my parents and I，preparing a dinner all by myself will certainly make a difference．The relationship between Mom and me will be strengthened again，I suppose．In addition to this，one day in the future I will have to live an independent life and take care of myself．If I can show my mom I have the ability to cook food myself and live a good life，she will have more confidence in me and won't have to be worried about me all the time．Last but not least，this gift will certainly leave a deep impression on both my mom and me，which is a unique treasure that no one else can have．
