Gifted with comfortable learning and living facilities offered by our school，we students share the duty to turn it into “a green school”．However，the current situation is alarming．

Wasting water and electricity is a common phenomenon in our school．Few of us ever have consciousness of how precious these resources are．Such bad habits are generally too small to be noticed，in other words，they are too strong to get rid of．Another problem is students' throwing away drinking bottles and old books which can be recycled．We tend to leave them wherever we like，ignoring the fact that these used materials can be made into useful things．

However serious the situation is，as long as everyone in our school does his part，we can make a difference．First，education activities on environmental protection can be launched among students by the Students' Union．Second，let's start with these small matters in our daily life．When leaving the classroom，make sure that the lights are turned off，as well as the fans．Throw used books and bottles into specified litter bins for recycling．Third，we can put our mental capacity into full play by applying what we've learned to practice．Designing some devices to protect the trees and grass in our school can kill two birds with one stone．

All in all，everybody can help to make our school take on a new look—a place free from pollution．
