Dear fellow students，

Since fires occur occasionally as it becomes colder，causing huge losses in the properties and lives of the people，we，the Students' Union，find it our duty to inform all the students of the danger of fires as well as our advice．

To begin with，we'd like to say something about fire itself．If you're used to watching news，it's simple to find out that fires，whether big or small，to some extent damage people's life．It may either burn off our precious properties or even threaten our lives．As a result，preventing fires is a task of importance，which provides us with a safe environment to go on with our studies．Time consuming as it may be，we should take the trouble to do it for the sake of both ourselves and our families．

Next，we've worked out some suggestions as follows in order to prevent fires．It's the basic step for us to obtain some necessary knowledge about fire safety regulations scientifically．Such rules are also made to remove obstacles at the emergency exit and make sure every single fire extinguisher is in good condition．
