Dear students，

As the weather is getting colder and colder，fires occur frequently，which poses great threat to people's possessions and safety．As one of the most dangerous disasters，fires may put our homes in ruins and cost people their lives！

So we attach great importance to preventing fires from happening．Only by taking enough effective precautions and take everything concerning fires seriously can we high school students enjoy a happy and safe school life．Therefore we'd like to put forward a few useful suggestions and hope that they'll be of great help to all the students．

To begin with，we students must equip ourselves with some basic and important knowledge on the precautions of fires such as how to use a fire extinguisher，how to escape from fires and so on．Secondly，we'd better make some fire safety regulations in class so that every student can bear them in mind and apply them to the practice in emergency．Thirdly，try your best to avoid using materials that can be set on fire easily．Most importantly，never play with fire．Most fires happen because of carelessness and we set it a rule in the school to keep away from fires．
