The Rose Residential Area I'm living in is a newly-built one．The empty space at the back of it remains to be developed，as is shown in the picture．Different people hold different opinions as to how it should be used．As for me a garden with trees，flowers may be a good choice．
I suggest there be tall trees lining up the border of the empty space，in the centre of which a flower bed is built．Then green grass covers the rest part of the ground with paths winding through it．In the area relatively close to the residential area，a small space should be reserved for people to take physical exercise．The reasons for my design are listed as follows．
On the whole，with such a beautiful garden in the residential area，we can witness everything coming back to life in spring．In summer，we can enjoy the gentle breeze while having a walk at night along the winding paths．Obviously，the garden will provide us with an opportunity to get closer to nature and relax ourselves freely．Besides，the garden will improve our living environment．With a garden located between the main road and the residential area，trees will reduce the noise coming from the traffic，creating a rather quiet environment．Meanwhile，the trees and grass will give out more oxygen to improve the air quality of the community，thus ensuring us a low-carbon lifestyle．What's more，the garden can also serves as a place where children can play happily and freely with their peers，a place where lonely old people can meet and talk with others and a place where busy people can take exercise in their leisure time．
All in all，considering all the reasons，a beautiful garden will beautify the community and provide a healthy and happy living environment for the residents．I am sure everyone will be happy with my plan．
