For more than a hundred years people have reported seeing a large creature in the forest of the Northwestern United States. Footprints have been found which might have come from a man-like ape about 7 or 8 feet tall. The footprints are sixteen inches long. They are so large that people have come to call this creature by the name “Bigfoot.”

一百多年来，人们不断地报告在美国西北的森林中看到了巨大的动物。被发现的脚印可能来自一个七八尺高的类人猿。脚印有十六英寸长。脚印是那么的大，所以人们把这动物叫做“大脚印” 。
