这部科幻电影由中国及好莱坞的巨星马特达蒙，威廉.达福和刘德华为主演，剧情以人类抵抗怪兽为中心展开。
To fight evil, an international elite force turn the Greatwall into a weapon to ward off monsters trying to devour humankind, said the director.
导演表示，这只国际精英力量为了对抗邪恶势力，将会把长城转变为武器用来抵抗想要毁灭人类的怪兽。
All scenes were shot in China, said Zhang Yimou, adding that he had been driven by a desire to promote Chinese culture through the iconic Greatwall, with the help of Hollywood.
同时，张艺谋也表示，所有的场景都是在中国拍摄完成的，另外他也希望在好莱坞的帮助下，他可以通过中国的标志——长城，来对中国文化进行宣传。
The film is slated for worldwide release on Nov. 23, 2016.
