耶稣的出生地在哪里？为什么他早年很多弟子都是渔民

来听今天的讲解:

A: Welcome to Bethlehem, the birthplace of Jesus!

欢迎来到伯利恒，耶稣诞生地。

B: Thank you! I've always wanted to make a pilgrimage here. Can I see where he was born?

谢谢！我一直想来这里朝拜。我能看到他的出生地吗？

A: No one knows that. Some think he was born in a cowshed and others in a cave. In either case there is nothing remaining here now.

没有人知道具体的地方。有人认为他生在牛棚里，还有一些人认为他在山洞里出生。无论是哪种情况，现在是什么都没有留下来。

B: How long did he live here?

他在这儿生活了多久？

A: Just for a couple of years until his parents fled to Egypt to avoid persecution from King Herod.

只住了几年，然后为了躲避希律王的迫害，他父母就带他逃到了埃及。

B: I remember, Herod had been told that a king had been born here and so he determined to kill his potential rival although Jesus was only a baby.

我记得，那个时候一直有人告诉希律王，说有个国王诞生于此。为了保住王位．希律就下决心杀死所有可能对他有威胁的人，尽管耶稣当时还只是个婴儿。

A: Later Jesus came back to Israel after Herod died and the family lived in Nazareth.

后来，希律王死后，耶稣又回到了以色列，一家人就住在拿撤勒。

B: There he had several brothers and sisters too.

就是在这个地方他又有了几个弟弟和妹妹。

A: That's right and then when he was thirty years old he began his public ministry around the Sea of Galilee.

是这样，然后他30岁时开始在加利利海周围地区传教。

B: That's why so many of his early disciples were fishermen like Peter and James and John.

这就是为什么他早年的很多弟子都是渔民的原因，比如彼得、雅各和约翰。

A: And he did so many miracles like feeding the 5, 000,  tuming water into wine and walking on water.

而且他还做了很多奇事，像喂饱了5000人、把水变成葡萄酒、在水上行走等。

B: Not forgetting healing the blind, the lame and the sick. Although I think his greatest miracle was to bring Lazarus back from the dead.

别忘了他还治好了盲人、瘸子和病人。不过我认为他最伟大的奇迹是让拉撤路起死回生。

A: He was a great teacher and many of the stories he told like the Prodi Son and the Lost Sheep have been enjoyed by young and old.

他还是个伟大的老师，一直以来他讲的很多故事都是老少皆宜，比如“浪子回头”和“迷途羔羊”的故事。

B: I think the greatest tragedy was that most of his own people. the Jews, never believed that he was the Son of God.

我认为最大的悲哀是他的大多数犹太同胞从来就不相信他是上帝之子。

A: The Jews were expecting the Messiah to come but they expected someone who would rid them of them Roman conquerors not one who would be crucified on a cross.

犹太人一直盼望着复国救世主弥赛亚的到来，他们盼的是能帮助他们摆脱罗马征服者统治的人，而不是钉死在十字架上的人。

B: We Christians believe that Jesus died for all our sins and that one day he will return to put an end to all wars and suffering．

我们基督教认为耶稣是为了替我们赎罪而死的，他们相信有一天他会回来结束一切战争和苦难。

A: We Jews believe that Jesus was a great prophet but that to call himself God was blasphemy.

我们犹太人认为耶稣是个伟大的预言家，但他自称为上帝是对神明的亵渎。

B: I understand that. I guess the best thing to do is to understand each other's religion and agree to disagree agreeably, right?

这些我知道。我想我们最好能理解各自的宗教，求同存异，和平共处，对吗？
