I’m Dave DeForest reporting. The United States and Russia agree on a cessation(停止)of hostilities(敌对状态)in Syria. The move could pave the way for an expansion of humanitarian aid(人道主义援助)to besieged(被包围)cities and set the stage for a resumption(恢复)of talks on a political transition. In a joint statement on Monday, the U.S. and Russia proposed that the ceasefire(停火)began on February 27.
