While the stock markets tank and millions of people find themselves out of work due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Silver Swan Recruitment is looking to hire a couple to manage an idyllic property on the scenic Isle of Skye in the Scottish Hebrides from April to October.

The role comes with free accommodations, two days off a week and $1,500 a month — and a chance to explore the island often ranked as one of the most beautiful in Scotland.

It’s not all play and no work though as Silver Swan notes, “This is a very demanding but important role as it ensures that the cleanliness of the apartments are maintained at all times. A beautiful looking apartment helps create that 5-star guest experience which our client is always aiming for.”

Duties include welcoming and hosting each group of guests, answering all questions and complying with special requests, cleaning the apartments daily and taking inventory and managing supplies.

The ideal candidate should have previous housekeeping experience, be “proactive [with] attention to detail,” have excellent time management and organizational skills, a driver’s license and a “positive and flexible attitude” among other things.
