Recently we have had a discussion on whether we should give money to beggars and we have different opinions.

Some believe that we should give money to those who are in bad need of our help. Among these beggars are the elderly, dropouts and the disabled, who can hardly make a living due to old age, poverty or physical inability.

Many more students, however, think we shouldn’t give them money because most of the beggars are begging in the hope of earning some easy money. Besides, to give money would encourage them to be q329950885lazy even if they have the ability to work.

In general, we should help the less privileged, but we should remain sensible when giving them money.
