    J:Oh,

    P:Jenny?

    J:Yes,

    P:Did you help me with my homework?

    J:Maybe. What is it about?

    P:Diet

    J:That's uninteresting.

    P:Yes, first ,I have to write down everything that we have eaten this week, then I have to list all the proteins ,the carbohydrates, the vitamins and calories

    D:Oh,yeah.

    J:Oh,deal, what? I think we will find that we eat too much

    P Oh,so that 's all the calories we had in this week, now ,we have to answer this question

    J: Ok, so that's all the calories we had in this week. so we have to answer this question: What would you do if you want to lose weight?

    P:I will go swimming every morning. What would you do ,Jenny ,if you want to lose weight?

    J:I will eat less.

    P:Ok, Dady, What would you do if you're over weight?

    D:I'd go jogging every morning. And I'd walk every day.

    P:Good, now I have to wave everyone in the family and we all have to answer this question: How much weigh to be put on(增加) since you last weighed yourself ?

    J:Ok, I go first. How much do I weigh?

    P:Fifty-nine kgs.

    J:How much is that in pounds ?

    P:Em, a hundred and thirty

    J:Oh,good That's the same as I weighed last time.Hi, dady ,your turn.

    D:Ok,How much do I weigh?

    P: seventy-nine kgs that's a hundred and seventy-four pounds.

    D:What? A hundred and and seventy-four? I've put on seven pounds What should I do?

    P:You could go jogging

    J:You could go to walk every day,.

    P:You could eat less.

    D:Ok,ok.

    W: So my doctor yesterday ,she told me that I need to go on a diet

    M:A diet? You don't look overweight to me.

    W:I'm not overweight. The problem is my cholesterol level.It's too high.

    M:What kind of diet are you going on?

    W:Well, the doctor wants me to cut out bread entirely and

    M:Cut out bread? I didn't know bread with high cholesterol.

    W:It 's not the bread that has cholesterol,it's all the butter I put on the bread..since I don't like margarine, the doctor told me to cut out bread.

    M:Tell me more about your diet.Is it a vegetarian diet?

    W:No,no,but I can't eat eggs,cheese ,all red meat(牛羊肉) . I have to eat more chichen and fish.

    M:That doesn't sound too bad for me. I like chicken and fish.

    W:Yes,yes it is.I can't eat any meat at all.

    M:What about fish?

    W:I can't eat all kinds of fish except shellfish.

    M:What about eggs? I thought the eggs have a lot of cholesterol that's like shellfish

    W:That's right.I have to cut down eggs, too.
