    J:Is it much further ,dady?

    D:No, we need our home , now.

    J: Good. what did you like best about the trip to Scotland, Paula?

    P:Em, I like the Lockness very much

    J:Yes,so did I. But I didn't like the first hotel.

    D:No, I didn't either. Was it awful ?

    J: Yes, it was. But I like the second hotel very much.

    P:Yes, I did ,too. Because the food was so good.

    D:What did you like best,Jenny?

    J:I didn't know what I like best, I enjoyed it at all。 well, that's not quite true.I didn't like the weather very much.

    D:No, neither did I.

    P:Hi,this is our street.

    D:Yes, we are home. That's strange.

    J:What strange?

    D:Your bedroom window is open. I'm sure I checked all the windows. Do you remember if you left it open?

    J:No, I'm sorry. I can't remember if I closed the window or not.

    P:Dady,

    D:Yes

    P: That back door is wide open.

    D:Oh,no. We 'd have a burglary.

    W:Hello.

    D:This is my daughter Paula

    D:This is Jenny Hunter ,Paula's twining.

    J:Hello.

    H:Hello, do you live here ,too?

    J: Yes ,that's right.

    D:When we were coming back from my trip to Scotland. We discovered the burglary.

    H:I see.

    P: Would you like a cup of coffee?

    H:Yes,that would be very nice ,thank you. Black for me please ,with two juice.

    W: And white for me ,please .and with sugar?

    W:Ok, can you come and help me .Paula?

    P: Sure.

    W:Now, do you know what the thieves took?

    D:Yes, the TV has stolen and so with Jenny's stereo

    W:What about the speakers(扬声器)?

    D:Yes ,they were taken ,too

    H:Can you describe what the stereo looks like?

    D:Yes, it's small black Japanese stereo system with small Greece cylindrical speakers.

    W:Do you know if anything else was stolen?

    D:I don't think so

    H: Was any damage done?

    D:This land was damaged and ornament was broken.

    W:Now do you think the burglar got in?

    D:The lock on one of their upstairs was damaged and the back door was open. So I think they came in the upstairs window and left by the back door.

    W:I see. Can we have a look at the window,please?

    D:Yes ,of course,please this way.

    W=Women, M=Man.

    W: Excuse me, where is the nearest police station?

    M:There is a one just around the corner on the left

    At the police station

    W:Excuse me, I'd like to report a crime

    M:What happened?

    W:My car was broken until last night

    M:Was anything stolen?

    W:No,no,nothing was stolen. But one of windows was broken and ignition doesn't work properly. Yes, the car radio and the small suitcase.

    M: Was anything value in the suitcase?

    W:No,no, not really. An old book and a few items clothing. But one of the car door's autoignition was badly damaged. Yes ,yes , a watch , a smacth piece of jewellery

    M:Where did it happen?

    W:In the car park near the opera house.

    M:Here is a form for your insurance company .
