My name is Megan Brach. I have been teaching English as a second language for 4 years. Learning English is not fast nor is it easy, but I am going to help you get started. Are you ready? Let's learn English. So now I'm going to give you 3 slang expressions that you can use at the movies. First, 2 thumbs up, which means the movie was very very good. I give the new Harry Potter movie 2 thumbs up. Next, a bomb. Which means a movie was terrible. I would not go see the new comedy film. It was a bomb. And last, sold out which means there are no tickets left. For example, we got to the movie theater late and it was sold out. So those are 3 slang expressions you can use at the movies.
