My name is Megan Brach. I've been teaching English as a second language for four years. Learning English isn't fast, nor is it easy. But I'm gonna help you get started, are you ready? Let's learn English. Here are three slang expressions you can use at the airport. First, a red eye. A red eye is a very late or overnight flight. For example, we are taking the red eye to California, it leaves at eleven a.m. Next is layover, which is a stop in the middle of your flight. For example, we have a three hour layover in Florida on our way to Puerto Rico. And next is wiped out, which means very, very tired. For example, we flew for five hours and we are wiped out. We need to take a nap. And those are three useful expressions you can use at the airport.
