三、There be的其他用法
（一）There be可以用过去时态，be动词用was/were表示，使用规律与一般现在时be动词方法一样
There was a cat under the table.桌子下面刚才有一只猫。
There wasn't any water in the bottle.瓶子里刚才没有水。
There were seven apples in the bag，but now there is one left.刚才包里有七个苹果，现在只剩下一个。
—Were there many tall buildings in old Shanghai？旧上海有很多高楼大厦吗？
—No，there weren't.没有。
（二）There be可用作将来时态，结构为：There is going to be ...或There will be ...
如：There is going to be a football game between Class One and Class Two.
一班和二班之间将有一场足球比赛。
There will be a heavy rain this afternoon.今天下午将有一场大雨。
（三）There be+主语+doing+介词短语
如：There are some birds flying in the sky.天空中有一群鸟儿在飞。
There are some children playing football in the playground.操场上有一群孩子在踢球。
Tips：
There be句型和have/has句型的区别。There be句型表示：某地存在有……，have/has 使用在人称后，表示：某人拥有……。
如：There is a story book on the table.桌子上有一本书。
I have a story book.我有一本书。
