1.双重所有格的形式

（1）of+名词’s

He is a friend of my brother’s.他是我弟弟的一位朋友。

Miss Smith is a friend of Mary’s mother’s.史密斯小姐是玛丽妈妈的朋友。

（2）of+名词性物主代词

I’m staying with a friend of mine.我打算和我的一位朋友住在一起。

I borrowed a necklace of yours.我借了你的一条项链。

2.双重所有格的用法

（1）表示部分概念，意为“其中之一”或“其中一部分”。

He is a friend of my father’s.他是我父亲的一位朋友。

Which novel of Dicken’s are you reading？ 你在读狄更斯的哪一本小说？

（2）表示部分概念时，名词往往被数量词a，two，some，any，several，few，no，many等修饰。

a latest work of the famous novelist’s 这位著名小说家的一部最新作品

several works of Shakespeare’s 莎士比亚的几部作品

（3）表示赞扬、批评或厌恶等感情色彩，名词前常有this，that，those，these等。

That performance of girls’ was excellent.女孩们的那个节目精彩极了。（表示赞赏）

I hated those words of Mary’s.我讨厌玛丽的那些话。（表示厌恶）

I like this bike of my brother’s.我喜欢我弟弟的这辆自行车。（表示喜欢）

Look at those books of Henry’s.What a mess！ 看看亨利的那些书，多么乱呀！（表示批评）
