一、there be 基本句式

1.肯定式

There is a picture on the wall.墙上有一幅画。

There are 24 hours in a day.一天有24小时。

【提示】 there+be的谓语动词遵循“就近一致”原则。

There is a boy and two girls in the room.（a boy 决定谓语用is）

There are two boys and a girl in the room.（two boy 决定谓语用are）

2.否定式

There are not any fairies in the world.世上没有神仙。

There was not an underground here before.从前这里没有地铁。

3.疑问式

Is there any water in your bottle？ 你的瓶里有水吗？

What’s there in your pocket？ 你口袋里装的是什么？
