二、there be 特殊句式

1.there+be中的替换词

2.There+情态动词+be

There can be no doubt about that.那是毫无疑问的。

There should have been someone on duty all the time.本来，每时每刻都应有人值班的。

The light is on.There must be someone in the office.灯亮着，办公室里肯定有人。

There used to be a temple here.以前这里有一座庙。

3.there+be的变式

There is no difficulty （in）doing sth.做某事没有困难。

There’s no sense in criticizing him.批评他也没有用。

5.There is no doing 意为“不可能……”、“无法……”

There is no telling what he is going to do．说出他要干什么是不可能的。

There is no saying what may happen.无法说出将要发生什么。

6.There is no need （for sb.）to do sth.没必要做某事。
