30 鸟窝与头发

My niece, a kindergarten teacher, was suffering fromfood-poisoning. After she got a little better, she wentto kindergarten in a peach scarf.

我的侄女是一位幼儿园老师，她食物中毒了。刚感觉好一点就披了条桃红色的围巾到幼儿园了。

One of her pupils said to her, “Ma’am, when Idumped the litter, I found a bird built its nest in themaple outside the classroom.”

一个学生告诉她说：“老师，在我出去倒垃圾的时候，我看到一只鸟儿在教室外的枫树上垒了个窝。”

“What kind of bird?” my niece asked.

“I didn’t see the bird, ma’am, only the nest.” replied the child.

“Then, can you give us a description of the nest?” My niece encouraged her.

“Well, ma’am, it just resembles your matted hair,” the child burst out.
