会说话的鹦鹉

A burglar broke into a house and was skulking assilently as he could when he heard a voice say "Jesusis watching".

一个夜贼钻进一栋房子里，正偷偷摸摸地走着，这时他听到一个声音说道:“耶稣正看着你呢。”

He stopped dead in his tracks and listened.

他立刻就僵在那里，竖起耳朵听。

A minute went by and he heard nothing, so he started to move again. "Jesus is watching",came the voice in the dark.

一分钟过去了，他什么也没听见，于是又开始行动。“耶稣正看着你呢!”声音又从黑暗中传了过来。

His eyes were adjusting to the light and he noticed a cage in the corner containing a parrot.

他的眼睛已经适应了暗光，看到角落里有个鸟笼，关着一只鹦鹉。

"Was that you talking bird?"

“是你在说话吗?”

The parrot said, "yes".

鹦鹉说:“是。”

"What's your name, little bird?"

“你叫什么名字啊?”

"Clarence", the parrot said.

“克拉伦斯。”鹦鹉说。

"Clarence? who would name a bird Clarence?" , the burglar laughed.

“克拉伦斯?谁给鸟起这么个名字?”夜贼笑道。

The parrot said, "The same person who named the rottweiller Jesus"!

鹦鹉说:“就是那个把罗威那犬起名叫耶稣的那个人!”
