"Flowers need water." said the teacher. "Water yourflowers every day, or they will die."

“花儿需要水。”老师说，“每天都要给花儿浇水，否则它们就会死掉。”

One morning, mother saw Mary out in the gardenand asked, "What are you doing there, Mary?"

"Watering flowers," said Mary.

"But it's raining now!”

"Oh, it doesn't matter, Mum. I have an umbrella!”
