A man and his wife were having some problems athome and were giving each other the silenttreatment. Suddenly the man realized that the nextday he would need his wife to wake him at 5:00 AMfor an early morning business flight. Not wanting tobe the first to break the silence (and LOSE), hewrote on a piece of paper, please wake me at 5AM."He left it where he knew she would find it.

男人和妻子在家里闹了些矛盾，开始冷战。突然，男人意识到第二天5点要起来坐早班商务飞机，需要妻子教他起床。他不想第一个打破沉默(那样的话他就输了)，所以他就写了一张纸条：“请明天早晨5点叫醒我。”他把纸条放在妻子能发现的地方。

The next morning, the man woke up,only to discover it was 9:00 AM and he had missed hisflight.

第二天上午，男人醒来一看，已经9点了，他没有赶上班机。

Furious, he was about to go and see why his wife hadn't wakened him when he noticed a pieceof paper by the bed. The paper said,"It is 5:00 AM. Wake up."

他怒气冲冲，正要去看看妻子为什么不把他叫醒，这时他看到床边有张纸条，上面写着：“5点了，醒醒吧。”

Men are not equipped for these kinds of contests.
