Brad called his parents. He asked his mom to put Dad on the other phone. "I need to talk to both of you," Brad said. His dad got on the other phone. Brad said, "This is very difficult for me. I told you before that Sue and I are having financial problems. We might not last another year here in Manhattan. If worse comes to worst, can we move in with you? You two are living alone in that big house. We could help out around there." His dad said, "We don't need any help. And you should try harder. Do you think I own this house because I was a quitter? If you believe in yourself, you can make it there. Now, think about visiting us for Christmas." His mom said, "Brad, we've got to go. We're going to be late for our tee time. Take care. Love you!"
