如果是打开家里的窗户，open the window这个说法绝对没问题，但打开车窗不能这么翻译。
 
因为原先车窗都是需要我们手动摇下来，车上有相应的按钮或把手，不像家里门窗可以直接用手拉开，而是上下移动开合。所以开关车窗不应该说open和close，而要用roll。
roll sth up (转动把手)关闭
 
roll up the window 摇上车窗;关上车窗
 
roll sth down 摇开;旋开
 
roll down the window (转动把手)摇下车窗;打开车窗

开窗是为了透气，促进空气流通，我想出去透气是I want to breathe fresh air吗?这样翻译就太啰嗦了。
 
其实，透气的英文表达非常简单，常用的有下面几种。
 
need some air/get some air 透透气
 
想去透气直接用need some air和get some air就可以了，这也是最常见的表达。
 
breathable透气的
 
多形容可以透气的衣服布料。
 
ventilate通风;通气
 
表示让房间等建筑物通风，well-ventilated room就是通风良好的房间。
 
let in some air 透透气
 
let in是允许进入的意思，let in some air就是让空气进来，也就是透气。
 
例：
 
The boring task makes me drowsy, maybe I need some air.
 
无聊的工作任务让我昏昏欲睡，也许我得去透透气了。
