看到不少衣服，虽然不经常穿，
但又舍不得扔掉。
整理家务时，有时候也会觉得扔掉一些东西会比较可惜，

中文里面，我们可以用“舍不得”
来表达“不愿意，不忍心”

1.can't bear to sth.
不忍心，不舍得
Bear本身有忍受的意思，这个短语则指”不忍心“做某事


Example:
Time flies. I can't bear to leave you.
时间过的好快啊，我真舍不得离开你。


I can't bear to see you cry.
我真舍不得看见你哭。






2.not have the heart (to do sth.)
不忍心（做某事）


Example:
That's why I didn't have the heart to destroy them.
这也是我不忍心摧毁他们的原因。


She doesn't have the heart to tell him what had happened to it.
她不忍心告诉他发生了什么。


3.hate to do sth.
“舍不得”其实就是“讨厌/不情愿做某事”，
hate to do 可以部分承载这样的含义。
hate to part with...讨厌跟…分别


Example:
I hate to part with you.
真舍不得跟你们分别。


I hate to leave this place.
我舍不得离开这个地方。
