In fact, the response I too is never used in modern English.
事实上，“I too”这个说法在现代英语中从未被使用过。
You do need to use I- the subject pronoun - when you have a verb in the phrase. But if there is no verb, as with xx too , we use what's called a disjunctive pronoun - and the first person disjunctive pronoun is ME.
当这句话中有动词时，你需要使用主格代词 I。但是如果没有动词，就像xx too这样，我们使用其宾格形式，第一人称的宾格形式就是ME。
我们来举个例子
当你听到
“I'm tired
你要表达“你也是”就可以说成
" I am, too. "
或者 "Me too."
me too 说完整了其实就是
That applies to me, too.
that是代词,
代指刚才说的内容
意思就是(刚才说的内容)同样也适用于我
再比如
“I like travelling
就可以说 "I do, too."
或者 "Me too."
当我们在写作时，
我们基本上不会用到“代词+too”的表达，
而是会用更正式的so do(es)+ 代词的结构
比如说
Leah gives a present to Sam, and so do I.
Leah gives a present to Sam and so does he.
需要注意的是它的否定形式
me too的否定就要说成me neither
其它的则是
Neither do I,
Neither am I,
Neither can I
etc ...
