That's that的展开形式就是that is that，其中的is也有可能变形成was。很好理解，就是这个东西已经就是这个样子了，它已经成它了，就不要再想怎么改变了。英文解释是：

an expression that shows that something has ended

就这样吧;就这样定了;再没有什么可说的

例：

I won't agree to it and that's that (= I won't discuss it any longer).

我不会同意这件事的，不要再说了。

 

that's it

 

that's it有两种解释

①used to say that something has ended

就这样，完了

常用于某事结束时，划一个句号。

例：

Well, that's it, we're done - we can go home now.

好啦，就这样吧，我们完工了——现在可以回家了。

That's it! I'm not listening to any more of your lies.

够了!我再也不想听你的谎言了。

②used to say that something is correct

这就对了;正是这样

例：

You switch the computer on at the back. That's it.

它就很像省略号……，表示等等;以及诸如此类的事物的意思。

said to mean that you do not want any more of something

例：

A: Do you need more potatoes peeled?
