According to the report, Mohsin said that the two countries are studying the use of digital financial assets and central bank digital currencies, which could simplify trade between countries and potentially mitigate the impact of sanctions. He also said that there are still some difficulties that need to be created and legislated for the new means of payment. However, Iran is interested in cooperating with Russia in order to bring such a solution to the ground.
