故事原文

There are two mice in a town. They are friends. One is Brown. It lives in an underground hole near a tower. The other is Howard. It lives in a big house. One day Brown asked Howard to come round to his hole. When Howard went down to Brown's hole, he looked around and said, “Your hole is too small and crowded. You should come and see my house.” Brown went to the house where Howard lives in. It's a very good house. And there's nice food. But just as they began to eat they heard a loud sound. Howard shouted, “Run! Run! The cat is coming!” They ran away. When they came out, Brown said, “I do not like living in a house like that. I like living in my hole. For I can live with the smell of flowers and without cats.”
