故事原文

Frank has been a fire fighter for five years. He is famous and has some fans in the town. He has a big family but his house is not big. He can't afford a bigger house because he doesn't have enough money. But his wife makes their house very beautiful. There is a photo in the house. In the photo, Frank is laughing in his offi ce and there are lots of friends with him. He feels happy about that. His children are proud of their father but they don't know it's diffi cult to do his job. He waits for phone calls in the firehouse every day even at night. If he gets phone calls, he has to go fast no matter how heavy the traffi c is because his job is to save lives.
