　everything 是一个词，为代词，意为“每件事，每样东西”。但every thing 是every（每个，各个）修饰thing，意为“各个东西，不同的事”。

Everything here is useful, but not every thing is cheap enough. 这里的样样东西都是有用的，但并不是每件东西都很便宜。

Everything goes well with her. （正）她一切顺利 。

Every thing goes well with her. （误）
